Transformer oil is an oil which remains stable at high temperature. Transformer Oil does mainly two tasks. Firstly, it is liquid insulation in electrical power transformer. 

 Secondly, it removes heat generated by the transformer and act as a coolant. Transformer is an electric device, by the principle of electromagnetic induction, transfer electrical energy from one electric circuit to another, change of voltage and current. Transformer either increases or decreases AC voltage.

Transformer are used to meet a wide variety of requirements. Some transformer can be of high
heights and some are small enough to hold in your hand. There are two kinds of transformers, one which is used to produce high voltage known as step up transformer and which is used to decrease the voltage is known as step down transformer.
 
Types of Transformer Oil

1.Transformer Oil

Transformer Oil is an Oil which remains safe at high temperature. Transformer Oil is having extremely good insulating properties, good degeneration stability, low votality and resistance to grease formation. This oil is acid free, alkaIi and corrosive sulphur and strong ability to release water.

2.Automotive Oil

Automotive Oil is greatly designed for heavy/medium/ light commercial vehicles, agricultural tractors, pump sets, outboard motors, marine engines, commercial & passenger cars, two and three wheeler etc. 
The product has better decomposition, thermic stability, notality, high impregnation levels and other litter properties as against Mineral Oil based Oils.

3.Industrial Oil

Lubricating Oils satisfy the needs of all core industrial sector of India. The products of Industrial Oil range caters to industrial applications like accessory, compressors, turbines, journal bearings, hydraulics, spindles, etc.

4.Coolant

Coolant is a fluid. Coolant fluid is a special fluid with additives because it need to remain liquid at low temperature but does not evaporate at high temperature.
